Hi lovelies,



Let's get back on our post-mortem. Hehe.. dah macam doktor nak bedah corpse lah pulak kan? :p First of all, please bear in mind yang majlis nie dirancang 100% by me dan juge my hubby. Sebabnya majlis nie kami share berdua tuk celebrate our big day with our loved ones (since our family and friends ramai kat KL). Bukan the other way around ye. Banyak pihak salah faham tentang nie and assumed majlis tue belong to my family. Well, dari A-Z sume kitaorg urus... cume towards the end baru kitaorg divide the tasks to our family members and friends. Almaklumlaa, kami cuba nak berdikari. So if ada salah dan silap serta terkurang kat mana2 masa majlis tue, semuanya datang daripada kesilapan kami sendiri. It's not fair kalau ada yang tunding jari to our parents sebabnya diaorg pun datang as our guests. Since nie first time urus sume mende sendiri and 2/3 cost majlis memang ditanggung oleh kami, jadinye terlalu banyak benda nak difikirkan. Everytime nak book a vendor, kena check financial betul2 either suit the budget or not. Bukan ape, tak naklaa lepas majlis nnti hidup susah pulak kan. 


Anyway, setiap majlis pun ada dugaannye. Same as mine. The person in charge as floor manager ngan emcee tibe2 ade keje last minute and kena pegi offshore. I knew it 2 days before majlis. Agak2 kalau korang, korang gelabah tak? Giler nak cari replacement dan2 tuh gak. So kebanyakan yang terlibat ngan majlis saye nie adelah bidan terjun. I know kalau i prepared back up plan or something else maybe majlis nie akan lebih organize. Tapi faham2 jelaa kan, when u have lots of thing on your mind sometimes sure ade mende yang missed out. So, tuk mengelakkan jadi cam saya.. please stick to your check list and....yang paling penting skali, please share your checklist with your maid of honor & bridesmaids. Sebabnya if ada tertinggal pape, they will always be there to remind you. I admit nie antara kesilapan terbesar saya. I even forgot to pass the tentative and script kat emcee bidan terjun saya and left everything at home! Last2 min saya tulis balik the tentative and asked my BFF to revise the list. But unfortunately, again timbul dugaan lagi! I assumed when i reached hall lepas solat jumaat tue sume set up dah ready. Skali hape pun tarak except the dais, walkaways and arch! Ya Allah, time tue memang trase kalut sangat. Nak argue ngan vendor pun x larat since still lagi demam and selsema time tuh. So, my BFF yang sepatutnye buat simple set up kat registration counter tak pasal2 kena jadi tukang set up meja makan tetamu.  Sampaikan tissue kat meja pun kitaorg lipat sendiri tau! Tak ke dah lari daripada plan asal tuh? Emcee bidan terjun pun jadi busy giler smpi x sempat nak practice ape. Nak buat rehearsal? Lagilaa tak sempat :(

Tapi alhamdulillah, despite sume kekalutan tue saya bersyukur sangat sebab my hubby's family pun siap turun padang tolong kitaorg. Big thanks to his uncles and aunties yang dari pagi lagi dah jejak ke dewan. My family pun sama gak kalut2 nk siapkan apa yang patut. My BFF lagi laa kan.. tak pasal2 my wedding jadi the busiest day for them. Masa tue memang saye berserah sgt2. When Ayang texted me cakap dier dah kat lobby hotel terus saye berdesup balik hotel tuk make up. Ikut hati nak je stay kat dewan tue and tolong apa yang patut. But i learned from my engagement dulu... please trust your family and friends to do the rest. It's impossible laa kan if pengantin nak buat sume keje. Nanti orang kata pengantin gila kuasa pulak :p

Anyway, even ada banyak kekalutan.. saya bersyukur sangat bila majlis tue dah selesai. Rasa nervous sebelum reception mengalahkan nervous masa nikah okeh! Sebabnye risau giler  kalau2 my reception went disastrous. huhuhu. Another thing yang saya ralat is when i sat on the dais and tengok ada table yang totally kosong! Imagine how much nak kena spent for one table? That's why i suruh orang RSVP. Even if xleh dtg sangat2, bleh je inform me even a day before. Sebabnya i can always find replacement for that. Jemput jiran taman sebelah ke, kawan2 jiran ke, adik ipar jiran sedare ke.. sape2 jelaa. I know majlis i bukan buat kat hotel so orang xdelaa peka sangat bab nak RSVP nih but then since i dah menjemput, it won't cost a million dollar pun kan tuk inform whether you are attending or not.  If yang memang last2 min x dapat nak sampai tue nak buat camner kan. I heard ada gak yang sesat, tayar kereta pancit and so on.. These people even came with an apology. So xdelaa heart feelings. Yang trase sgt tuh, ade kawan2 saya yang saya dah pos kad and even jemput thru FB  (bg msg kat inbox, jemput thru event) buat senyap je. Padahal hari2 online. Bila upload gambar laju lak nak komen. Pastu ada yang dah RSVP beriye2, siap mintak seat extra tup2 x muncul batang idung. Terus senyap je x kate ape. Adess, kekadang menyirap gak. Tapi takpelaa kan. Maybe for them i am nobody. So tak perlulaa nak ralat sangat. Well, ni iktibar jugak for me so that lepas nie if ada org menjemput gi wedding kenalaa cepat2 RSVP and if ade change of plan kenalaa cepat2 update. Bak kata pepatah, orang berbudi kita berbahasa :)



One reception done so lepas nie bleh concentrate kat another receptions. Satu kat my family's hometown - Pasir Mas, Kelantan and satu lagi kat my hubby's side - Kluang, Johor. If ada B2B or ex-B2B yang bleh datang, jemput2laa ye. Nanti i buat formal invites kay  :)


Note: Special thanks to my family, my hubby's family JKM74, AESS staffs and last but not least to my BFF who've been there for me since day 1. I owe u guys so much! Thanks a lot.To my hubby, we did it! Love u so much (ouhh.. dh genap seminggu kawen. rase cam baru semalam je akad nikah.. huhu)

p/s: if uols kawen gune dewan DBKL sepanjang bulan February nie, you are entitled for 50% rebate sempena sambutan Hari Wilayah! First time ever tau Menteri Wilayah bagi rebate nih. Alhamdulillah, rezeki kawen.. bleh reimburse RM400. Plus deposit lagi.. tambah lagi RM300. Blehlaa simpan dalam tabung honeymoon. hehehe :D

tetiba terasa, aku kah itu yg terlupe nk RSVP. hopefully tak la..huhu. kalau ye, mohon ampun la ye. btw, aku suka ur wedding. xsabar nk tnggu post utk DIY heheh

like i sed before...even big events ada minor flaws...as ur BFF yg masih blom bkawen [ehemsss], i dun see this as a disaster but an experience on managing own event...i am giving u a standing ovation for ur effort and hardwork to make things happen.i myself not sure if i can do it like u.it's not easy to do things on ur own.. bab mereka2 tak mai, aku pun cm hangin gak bile tgk few tables kosong...yg respon kt fb cm ramai...tp yg dtg tak smpi half and for me at least respond la if tetibe la tak jd dtg ke kan...

like i sed before, what's done is done..ko ada lg 2 functions to focus on...so be happy ok!
