Review: Wedding Cake

Sedih tul sebab skrg nie susah nak online. Tgh nak adjust diri kat new workplace. Huhu. Anyway, I'm back with my review series. Hope dapat membantu those yang tengah survey vendor. So kali nie sambung bab wedding cake. If you read my previous post sure uols tahu yang my wedding cake ditempah just few weeks before the wedding! Sengal ke tak sengal? huhuhu. Alhamdulillah urusan bab nie dipermudahkan and senang je kami jumpe vendor yang sesuai. Thanks a lot to my Alang yang put her effort tuk pastikan everything goes according to plan.. and of course big thanks to my Angah yang sponsored the cake :)

Sebenarnye kitaorg approached few bakers tapi most of them ade masalah untuk deliver the cake straightly to the hall. Kitaorg tak nak amik risiko tuk pick up sendiri sebab in case jadi pape kat cake tue on the way, mcm mana pulak kitaorg nak repair cake tue kan? Last2 jumpa gak baker yang sudi amik order last minute and willing to deliver the cake. Lagipun dia operate kat SS5, PJ so takdelaa jauh sangat daripada dewan. As for the design, kitaorg just bagi design cake yang kitaorg berkenan then bagitau theme kaler wedding. Memang berangan sangat nak 3 tiered fondant cake, so bila dapat gak tempah cake idaman hati terus teruja! Luckily my wedding cake turned out to be so beautiful, just as i imagined (eventho the size lil bit smaller than i thought :p) Rupa yang cantik saja tak cukup kan? (nway, cantik pada pandangan mata saye lah, kalau uols rase x cantik xper.. hehe) How does it taste? Yummylicious! It was chocolate moist cake with strawberry fillings. The texture was so soft and rasa manis dia memang secukup rasa! Jadinya tak muak nak makan. Nasiblaa sempat gak merasa 1 slice after cutting cake ceremony tuh. Kalau tak, sure menyesal gler. huhuhu.

So, inilah dia my wedding cake (^_^) hehehe... bulehlaa kan daripada takde? nie pon orang sponsor :D

One cake is not enough? Wait... wait....

Hehehe.. actually I had second cake! Ini idea my B and I. Design cake i serah 100% kat baker cumenye i prepared design tuk edible image je. Oh ye, ni bukan wedding cake ye. Ada sebabnya why we decided to have this cake. Cake nie sempena meraikan anniversary my batch that fall on 4th February jugak.. and of course, for my BFF Neesa & Nadh yang birthday diaorg pun on the same date! Alang2 nak celebrate my batch haruslah celebrate my hubby's batch jugak. Diaorg punye anniversary is on 22nd February. Jadinya combine jelaa kan. FYI, my hubby and I dua2nye blaja kat SBP, so kalau semangat sekolah lebih tue faham2 jelaa ye. hehe. I am proud to say that i have the same BFF for 13 years! Once SSPian forever SSPian! (tetibe nak gler kuase :p) Well, lagipun sebab sekolah jugaklaa saya ngan my B berkenalan. Eventho kami tak sama sekolah, tapi kami berkawan 12 tahun sampailaa kami decide tuk lebih serius and get married. Plus, badge skolah kami seiras. Exactly the same color scheme (white, yellow, green & red).. memang sehati sejiwa! (haha.. nie coincidence je :p) Anyway, cake yang vass and superb ni i ordered from my BFF - Mummy Bunny's Kitchen. Thank you so much dear! :)

Actually, ade kontroversi jugak bab kek nie when someone xleh nak beza kek ni ngan kek kahwin and start bashing our idea on having this cake. Tapi xperlaa, saye x amik pusing sangat pun. It's my wedding. Suke atilaa saye nak wat kek camner pun. Kek bentuk rumah ke, senapang ke, pasu ke. Tak gitu? Pape pun, I'm very thankful sebab ramai orang yang concern and slalu tolong jadi "mata" and "telinga" buat saya. Luv uols so much! :)


p/s: Quoted directly from someone yang kena mengena ngan isu nie (pulang paku buah keras ye :p) Rather than just being such an annoying person and criticizing other people i do think you should find something else to do. Jangan pandai cakap aje!
