Foto By Razali : Wedding Photography Giveaway Contest

 December 11, 2010

Alhamdulillah, it seems that i have grown interest in participating online contest (even though i know that i have slimmest chance of winning, i found it as something fun to do). I knew about this contest since last month but took a long time deciding whether i should participate or not (since i am not gifted with writing skills nor a sweet talker - proven by countless track of inability to convince people :p) But still, here i am.. trying my luck :) Anyway, this contest will end on 30th December 2010. To those who are interested to join this contest, you can get the full detail HERE

You just have to follow these simple steps:

1) Click "LIKE" on Foto by Razali Facebook Page
2) Share the blue poster below
3) Choose 1 photo from Foto by Razali blog or Facebook, write an entry, express why you like his photography & put a link to his blog under the selected photo.

To be honest, it's not an easy task for me to choose ONE photo from Foto by Razali for this entry. I found that his pictures really expressive (and definitely impressive). When you look at the picture, it's like reading a story.

"A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed"
- Ansel Adams

Since i have to post ONE photo, so i chose this

What i like most about this picture is the pure feeling it conveyed. It is not something you can easily define. Different people may have different interpretation of this photo. As for me, the door's opening leading to a praying man is like showing us the right path by always behold to our Creator. No matter who we are, we are always His servant and to Him we shall ask forgiveness and guidance (since i am not good with words, i should end my explanation here).

I am sure that Foto by Razali have succeeded capturing "the moment" at each event assigned. Behind those meaningful photographs you can see at his blog or facebook there are anticipation, perseverance and great patience. Anybody can take photographs but only people with talent and ability to foresee the moment can take great photographs.

Again i would like to quote Ansel Adams,

"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs"

Yes, there are no rules. I believe that all you need to have is the ability to react well with your surroundings. Of course there is no doubt that this photographer (Foto by Razali) posses the qualities of being a great photographer. I wish him all the best! (to myself as well :p)

I rest my case :)

p/s: Ansel Adams was American Legendary Photographer
